SARAH LABRIOLA, a Birmingham native, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her upbringing in the Church of Christ fostered an early love of and aptitude for a cappella singing, and Sarah cultivated her talent with Diana Mayhall at Hoover High School, Dr. Philip Copeland at UAB and South Highland Presbyterian Church as a Staff Singer.
Sarah has sung with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra Chorus, Red Mountain Chamber Orchestra’s performance of Mozart’s Requiem (Mezzo Soloist), Lee Scott Singers, and most recently sang the “Pie Jesu” in the Cathedral Choir’s performance of Durufle’s Requiem.
Sarah studied voice with the late Dr. Rachel Mathes. She joined the Cathedral Church of the Advent Cathedral Choir as Staff Singer in 2015. She is in her third full season with Highland Consort, having joined the group in 2016.
